Gas Coolers

Gas coolers are found in transcritical systems and serve a role similar to that of a condenser in a standard system. Given that transcritical fluids cannot be condensed, the job of the gas cooler is to cool the gas in between compression stages. 

Given the high pressure applications in which they're found, gas coolers are typically constructed using robust materials, including copper alloy tube and 304 or 316 stainless steel. 

Our gas coolers are used in industries such as food storage & processing and HVAC.

1-Row Gas Cooler

This 1-row gas cooler features tubes and headers made from copper alloyed with nickel and tin to withstand the application's high pressure.

2-Row Gas Cooler

This 2-row gas cooler was also designed using copper alloyed with nickel and tin for tubes and headers along with aluminum fins. It was UL listed for up to 1,740 PSIG and was designed for a food storage and processing application.

This gas cooler was constructed using aluminum fin, K65 headers, and copper alloy tubes. It was 212 inches long and was built without top and bottom pans per customer request.

This 8-row gas cooler was designed using copper alloy tubes and headers along with pre-coated aluminum fins for corrosion resistance.

With deep experience in heat transfer thermal modeling, Super Radiator connects the best of our internally developed software with external programs trusted by the industry. 

SRC uses Solidworks programs for thermal modeling and validates theoretical and expected performance with our in-house wind tunnel. This data informs our deigns and engineering, allowing us to give more accurate performance predictions and a better product overall.

Welding

Certified Welders and Brazers

Super Radiator Coils' welders and brazers are certified under ASME Section IX code, and all welding and brazing programs are directed by Certified Weld Inspectors (CWIs). 

In addition to our team, we have in-house pickling and passivation capabilities so that the corrosion resistance benefits of stainless steel products won't be lost after welding.
