Equipment Operator (VA)

Job Description

We are seeking a hard-working and mechanically minded people to join our production team.  Equipment operators set-up and run our metal forming equipment.  These machines use high precision custom tooling for heat exchanger manufacturing.  We operate in a fast paced environment with frequent change overs.


This is a full-time position. We currently have openings on first shift (6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.) and second shift (2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.)

Compensation

Pay Rate:  $17 - $19/hour, depending on experience

Specific Responsibilities

  • Operate metal working equipment to consistently and efficiently to produce quality parts 
  • Use blueprints and router information to set-up tooling and machines
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance tasks
  • As an active team member in the area, participate in continuous improvement activities to improve safety, quality, productivity and tooling life

Qualifications

  • Successful experience working with mechanical equipment
  • Proven mechanical aptitude

Maintenance Technician (AZ)

Job Description

The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.  

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m.to 2:30 p.m.

Compensation

Pay Rate:  $20 - $28/hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience; with strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical / industrial, electrical and PLC experience.

Responsibilities

Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.

  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Welder (AZ)

Job Description

Plan, lay-out, weld, install test and repair all types of pipe , similar tubular products and Structural welding in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. Work in other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by supervision. Top priority is Tig (GTAW) Experience 5 years plus work experience or a recent graduate from welding school that can do light wall material. Light gauge stainless and carbon steel .035 and .049 is a must.  

This is a full-time position.  We currently have openings on night shift (1:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.)

Qualifications

The ability to understand information, ideas, direction and then be able to perform the task or project discussed. Also, to be able to ask questions to insure you understand the information given.
  • Must have a working knowledge of various welding codes, specifications, techniques and methods.
  • Must be familiar with properties of metal machining, weld shrinkage and welding techniques
  • TIG and MIG welding
  • Efficient in GTAW, bonus if GMAW, and SAW.
  • Experience in these a plus: GTAW and GMAW open root welding with CS & SS and ability to pass 6G pipe test GTAW.
  • Experience welding in hard to reach places
  • Looking for no less than 5 years experience GTAW.
  • Might be willing to look at someone straight out of welding school that has light wall TIG (GTAW)
  • Able to read,  speak, and write in English very well
  • With regard to that portion of the work assigned, develop complete understanding of contract plans and specifications and plan, lay-out, install and/or repair all types of pipe and/or similar tubular products in accordance with those plans and specifications.

Senior Sales Application Engineer (AZ)

Job Description

The Sr. Sales Application Engineer applies mechanical engineering skills and pressure vessel code knowledge (ASME, CE-PED, etc) to quote, design, and engineer finned-tube heat exchangers for use in power plants, high pressure and high temperature applications, and other related industrial end-uses. All products are custom made-to-order. We specialize in the thermal and fluid sciences as well as mechanical design. The heat exchangers we design and fabricate weigh from 1 to 20,000 pounds and operate in temperature conditions ranging from -340 to +1,400°F and pressure conditions from vacuum to 5,500 psi. All fabrication is performed on location so you can design your product and then see it being fabricated a few weeks later. The Sr. Sales Application Engineer works directly with our customer's engineering teams.

This is a full-time position.  We currently have openings on first shift (6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.) and second shift (2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.)

Compensation

Pay Rate:  $14 -$16/hour, depending on experience, plus OT

Full benefit package including vacation, medical, 401k, and tuition assistance

Qualifications (Required):

  • Work history demonstrating success in a production environment
  • Positive attitude
  • Math and blueprint reading skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

Qualifications (Preferred):

  • Experience and capable forklift operation
  • Metalworking manufacturing experience
  • OSHA 10 Hour certification
