Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and motivated person to join our office team.  The Inside Sales and Support Specialist will contribute in the areas of Sales, Purchasing, Design and Accounting.  We operate in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes requiring high levels of communication, organization and multitasking.  This essential member of our team will help keep our office running timely and accurately so that we can continue to build the best heat exchangers in the business.  This is an entry level position with opportunities to assume greater responsibility.  Come join the company that was voted a 2019 Richmond Top Workplace.

The position is responsible for managing key customer functions such as quotation and order management.  Secondary responsibilities will include supporting the engineering, design and accounting functions.

Compensation

Drafter/Designer Position (VA)

Job Description

This position will be generating models for heat exchangers, where designs are not overly complex, and efficiency and throughput are required. There are some automation tools that complement the design process, and are also a key element when generating associated Bills of Material and Routers. At the beginning of their employment, time will be spent in the factory learning the methodologies used to produce product. This orientation and training will provide the general foundation and reasoning needed when creating all Designs, BOM’s and Routers.

This is a full time position and the candidate can expect working in a team environment with daily interactions with Sales Engineers, other drafters, and Production personnel. These interactions will lead to efficiencies in the design process, a design that meets customer specifications, and is a good match with manufacturing capabilities.


Compensation

Pay Rate: Depending on experience

Qualifications

  • The candidate must be proficient in Solid Works – It’s preferable that this experience come from a manufacturing background and experience with design tables or third party configurator is a plus.

  • The candidate must be highly productive – the position will work in a fast pace environment that presents a variety of design opportunities, with very short lead times, requiring efficient use of Solid Works, and the associated automation tools. Sheet metal and assembly module experience is a plus.
  • A working knowledge of how to structure a Bill of Material outside Solid works is required as a foundation to creating BOM’s and Routers. Parent / Child structuring experience within a MRP/ERP structure is required. Our automation tools assemble the BOM’s and Routers, which may require customization in our ERP system.

  • Candidates with a two year degree in a mechanical design discipline, or demonstrated knowledge gained thru experience is a plus.
  • Good communication skills are required
  • It’s a plus if the candidate has used EPDM.

CNC Machinist (AZ)

Job Description

We are seeking a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist to produce parts and join our production team.  These machines use high precision custom tooling for heat exchanger manufacturing.  We operate in a fast paced environment with frequent change overs. 

This is a full-time position.  We currently have one opening that will be either day shift or night shift.

Compensation

Pay Rate:  $20 - $26/hour, depending on experience.

Essential Functions

  • Programming parts using CamWorks with SolidWorks CAD/CAM software.
  • Fixturing and setup of parts.
  • Tooling inventory maintenance and setup.
  • Operation of CNC vertical mills with that may include a 4th axis.
  • Deburring of parts after machining.
  • Measurement of parts to ensure conformance to the specifications.
  • Cleaning and general maintenance of machines and department.
  • Training and development of new operators and processes.
  • Develop and implement standards and procedures for the department.

Qualifications (Preferred)

  • Advanced understanding of milling processes, particularly in carbon steel and stainless steel.
  • Proficient with CAD/CAM software packages.
  • CNC mill setup and operation experience.
  • Ability to properly use measurement tools to ensure specification conformance.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates good leadership.

Maintenance Technician (AZ)

The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.  

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m.to 2:30 p.m.


Compensation

Pay Rate:$20-$28/hour, depending on experience

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience; with strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical / industrial, electrical and PLC experience.

Essential Functions

Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.

  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
