IT Support Specialist Position in Richmond, Virginia

Job Description

Super Radiator Coils' Richmond, Virginia division is seeking a passionate, detail-oriented IT support specialist to support our growing IT needs. 

Core functions of this role will be:

• Provide assistance to computer system users
• Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, via telephone or from remote location
• May provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, MS Office, email, and operating systems
• Sets up new hardware/software and troubleshoots issues with existing hardware/software
• Works in conjunction with Corporate IT to implement changes and enhancements to infrastructure

Specific Responsibilities

• Hardware Support
• Builds and deploys desktop computers
• Tracks hardware/software inventory
• Software Support
• New software implementation
• Supports business-related smartphone use
• Works with Corporate IT as needed
• Conducts audio and video setups for meetings
• Documentation
• User Training

Qualifications

• Excellent user support skills – is able to assist with user issues in a friendly manner
• Attention to detail –  is able to thoroughly and accurately accomplish tasks
• PC/Workstation Hardware – has knowledge of and the ability to manage the installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of end users' PC or workstation hardware
• PC/Workstation Software – has knowledge of and the ability to manage the installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of PC or workstation software for end-users
• Passion for IT and learning

Experience

• 2+ years in IT (preferred)
• MS Office 2016+
• Windows 10
