Reactor Containment Auxiliary Cooling Coils

Reactor Containment Auxiliary Cooling Coils, located inside the reactor containment structure, provide supplemental cooling during normal operation. While they normally do not provide a safety related cooling function, the coils themselves often are safety related because they are connected to and served by the same cooling water system as the Reactor Containment Cooling Coils.
