Super Radiator Coils, a family-owned manufacturer headquartered in Chaska, MN, is hiring entry level and experienced Press Machine Operators. Current openings are for 1st shift ONLY.

    • 2nd shift premium adds $0.85/hr.

Duties and Responsibilities: Specific job duties will vary based on the position that is best suited with the skills, experience, and interests of qualified applicants.  

  • If all paperwork is in order, initiate quality check sheet and die setup.
  • Run small sample of test fins and have another operator sign off on your completed quality check sheet.
  • When all signatures are in place, proceed to complete the order by stacking fins neatly on a sturdy pallet.
  • Stage completed pallets in the blue square located in front of press 6 with appropriately colored fin identification paperwork on top and move on to the next order.
  • It is every operator's responsibility to keep the press area clean and help maintain safe lanes of travel through the department, including but not limited to:
    • Emptying trash
    • Cleaning up your press at the end of your shift
    • Carrying recycle boxes to shipping
    • Putting tools and tooling back where they go and generally cleaning up behind yourself

  • When handling rolls of material, always make sure to keep them labeled with type, gauge, width, and weight securely on pallets segregated from other part numbers.
    • One material per pallet
  • Remove and instillation of dies is the responsibility of the operator.
    • Precise instructions for the removal and reinstallation of dies can be found in the books located under the press 3 computer.
  • Report and safety quality or production concerns immediately to your supervisor.
  • If any issues with die or press arise, notify supervisor and/or maintenance department immediately.

    • Only attempt to resolve said issue if you have been properly trained to do so
  • Adhere to all other company policies and guidelines such as break periods, break schedule, conduct expected of Super Radiator Employees, and anything else outlined in the employee handbook provided.

  • Super Radiator Coils is a union shop with guaranteed progression raises.

If you have a steady work history and are comfortable with hand tools, we want to hear from you! Experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly is a plus, but it is not required.
