Job Description

Super Radiator Coils strives to improve our world by unleashing the power of thermodynamics. We are seeking an experienced 2nd shift supervisor to help us reach that purpose by ensuring that we are leaders and best in the heat transfer industry while caring for our workforce, communities, and environment.

This is a unique opportunity for an operations supervisor to join an exciting, growing company. The 2nd shift value stream supervisor is a newly created position that will be responsible for leading all second shift operations within our flow line value stream, which represents approximately 60% of all production. The position will report to the flow value stream manager and lead approximately 3 leads and 40 operators.

Compensation:

This is a full-time position. Pay rate is flexible based on experience.

Essential Responsibilities:

The value stream supervisor is responsible for safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and people development for the flow value stream on 2nd shift. This includes:

  • Ensure a safe work environment for all operators.
  • Identify root cause of safety issues, develop and implement corrective actions.
  • Produce finished goods per SRC quality standards.
  • Investigate quality trends and implement change to prevent future issues.
  • Ensure production schedule is met by identifying needs & procuring help, anticipating challenges, and making adjustments to achieve success.
  • Eliminate waste and continuously improve production processes to meet increasing demand by improving productivity.
  • Use our IDP (individual development plan) to develop leads and operators  to improve employee engagement, career development, and job satisfaction.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in an industrial setting.
  • Proven ability to implement sustainable change.
  • Excellent communication skills with people in all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet customer demand.
  • Action-oriented, hands-on person who is excited to solve problems and continuously improve the production environment
