Materials such as tubes and pipes go through the manufacturer's quality inspection and testing as outlined by ASTM/ASME. During, shop fabrication and installation, coil components are visually inspected.
Assembled coils are charged with dry nitrogen at a minimum of 250 PSIG and submerged underwater to test for leaks. A higher test pressure may be used depending on the application and operating conditions. A test pressure certificate of compliance can be provided if requested when the coil is ordered.
We also can provide electronic sniffer and vacuum pull down leak tests. If you require a different testing method or have questions please contact the nearest Super Radiator Coils facility.
